FlipSide are an Eastern-Connecticut based Acoustic Duo, originally formed in late 2006.

Members John Cadarette (left, acoustic and electric guitars, lead and harmony vocals) and Derek Ventilato (right, acoustic and bass guitars, lead and harmony vocals) have over 40 years combined experience in musical performance and studio recording.

Our song selections are drawn from a wide variety of musical influences; from classic rock, to contemporary country, to modern alternative... with a few twists and surprises along the way!

"The hills are alive with the sound of..."-Mary Martin (1956)

If you've allowed your browser to access Windows Media Player (or similar media player), then you should be hearing music right now.  Don't worry - it's not the "voices in your head" again... it's us!  The background audio track is our live-to-CD demo.

This demo was recorded at the studios of Pwop! Productions in New London, Connecticut by our good friends Carl and Jay Franklin.  The Franklin Brothers (as they are collectively known) are fantastic musicians, computer whizzes, and recording/production masters who have so graciously allowed us to invade their personal space on multiple occasions.  Recording with them was an enjoyable and educational experience, and we highly recommend them to any musicians who are looking to put their best foot forward with regards to audio and/or video recording.

"I feel like a number..."-Bob Seger (1981)

This is a test of the Visitor Number System.  This is ONLY a test:

If this had this been an actual Visitor Number, the number you just read would have been followed by some annoying pop-up ad telling you that you just won something amazing; that you would have to spend an inordinate amount of money on a whole bunch of other stuff to actually get that "amazing something"; and jump through so many hoops to get it delivered, you'll probably forget why you wanted it in the first place.

This concludes this test of the Visitor Number System.
